Friday will be the day that it will be nearly impossible for me to write.

With getting up early for work and getting home around six only to leave again at seven. And eat, shower, change my clothes in between there is not much time left in the day to write and that will be every Friday.  And also Grey’s Anatomy needs to be reviewed for the TwoCents on Friday.

But it’s fine, I will make up for it this weekend! Mark my words!!!

If you are writing a story it can develop in many ways, sometimes you know beforehand where you want you story to go. And sometimes you have no idea at all.  These stories sometimes get their own life, something happens and it takes you by surprise. You didn’t mean to write it that way but that’s okay, that is what make sit fun.

And to agree with the icon I used for this post I somewhere along the line decided that Garcia indeed needs more screentime especially in my story. The woman is a riot that should be used as much as you can.

I didn’t expect this particular thing until I wrote, it’s funny how that works:

“Jayje! Oh! You have no idea how good it feels to receive a call from you! I missed this!” The red headed technical analyst chuckled happily. JJ could hardly get a word in when she noticed a stumbling sound in the background on the other side of the line followed by a very obviously; “Hush Derek, it’s Jayje … we’ll get back to this when I am done calling with my best friend who I haven’t been able to see or speak to in two whole months.”

Derek mumbled something which JJ couldn’t make out but she really didn’t need to ask when Garcia told him that he wouldn’t be interrupted now if he had done his job faster. Because then she would have let the phone ring and call JJ back when she was done.

“To much information, PG. I am still getting adjusted to the fact that the two of your finally got your act together.”

“You’re one to talk, I have been watching countless hours of video where the two of you where acting all lovey-dovey.”

“Pen, that was pretend!” JJ exclaimed loudly; “You just basically told me that I interrupted you and Derek while … ugh whatever.”

“Actually we were just cleaning up some of my stuff because Derek will not allow me to move all of my sparkly feathery crap into his house as he calls it.”

“You what?”

“Ehm… I didn’t tell you?” Garcia chuckled loudly; “My chocolate thunder asked me to move in with him.”

I didn’t meet my goal 1667 words today, I had to write my Criminal Minds review for The Two Cents and that took away a chunk of my writing time away. But that’s okay, I’ll get back on track this weekend.

I am so happy right now, it feels so good to continue this story. It has been something that I have thought about for a long time. Before I decided to make this a Criminal Minds fanfic I had intended to make this a CSI fic, so believe me a long time because I haven’t been writing CSI for years.

Criminal Minds needs more girls nights out, and that is what I wrote today:

“Obviously something is going on.” JJ replied with a smile; “I just want you to know that we are here if you want to talk about it, whatever it is.”

Emily nodded and smiled at the blond, but she could never tell her what she had thought about. How do you tell your best friend that you think that she looks absolutely stunning and that you ravished her a thousand times in your mind. You don’t, unless you are absolutely sure that the feelings are mutual and even then you don’t say it out loud.

“I am fine. However I am not fine with this, my glass is empty.” The brunette spoke loudly in an upbeat tone of voice while a smile played on her lips.

“Well there is truly something to say for that, let me get us some refills and make sure that you don’t get lost in your thoughts again. We need you, it’s a girl’s night out and we can only have so many nights as it is. So you better make sure that you are here for the whole ride.”

Day 1 – Nanowrimo started, finally!

I have been looking forward to this day for so long and now it’s here all in all it went really fast this past month.

As I’ve said before I am going to work on ‘Forces of Nature’, which was the story that I wrote last year as well but I didn’t finish it. This past month I have been working on the plot, the development of the story and I am sure that I can come up with another 50 000 words for this story. Today’s target is in, the first 1720 words have been written. The chapter I worked on was mostly Garcia centered and that is a nice way to start.

My favorite sentence from todays chapter:

“I’ll be right there, Garcia out.” She quickly replied while she gathered everything she might need and quickly left her lair. Her heels resounded loudly on the walls as she strode down the corridor towards the BAU, she pushed the glass doors open and noticed that everyone had already gathered in the round-table room. Saying that always reminded her of the tale of king Arthur and the knights of the round-table. In a way their team were kind of like knight’s in FBI issued kevlar armor, who wielded their guns and badges to make the world a better place.
