At this point NCIS is the fandom that has the biggest story archive after CSI, but as I said before my Criminal Minds stories are longer.

So who do I ship

Well Abby is basically ship-able with everyone, McGee, Tony, Gibbs, Jimmy,  Ziva and Jenny. For some reason I can see it all plus a whole bunch of crossover ships as well. Ziva in my opinion works well with Tony and McGee as well as Abby or Jenn, Gibbs not so much. Jenny is the one I really like to see with either Ziva or Gibbs, but I could also see her date Tony – probably as a more casual thing though.

Abby’s bisexuality is easy to explain, the woman is so diverse and open-minded that I can only see her as a person who would fall in love or be attracted to a person for who they are no matter what their gender is.

Ziva David is a woman who will kick your ass in the most feminine way possible. She is strong, independent and a mystery, she belongs in the Emily Prentiss, Olivia Benson, Sara Sidle category no matter how many details you learn about them there is so much they keep hidden. And I like that it gives a good bottom from which you can develop your story. Meanwhile these women even though they are so strong and independant they are searching for the same thing we all are, they also just want to be loved.

Jenny is a little different, I had heard rumours about her role on NCIS and I really didn’t get it. I was confused as to what they saw in Lauren Holly, why they thought that she could possibly be the new and first female Director of NCIS. You need a strong woman to play a role like that, a Brenda Leigh Johnson (The Closer), Catherine Willows or Laura Roslin (Battlestar Galactica). It probably didn’t help that I only knew her from her roles in Down Periscope (in which she wore a navy uniform which was at least 3 sizes too small) and Dumb & Dumber. When Jenny was introduced on NCIS I wasn’t convinced, I was instantly curious in her character because of her connection to Gibbs and Ziva but I thought that she looked more like a school teacher instead of a NCIS Director. And then they cut of her hair, really short and it was as if a different person arose, she looked so on top of her game, so confident that I instantly believed that indeed she was the right person for that role. I still miss her character.

A little explanation

Before I am able to write a fic with a certain pairing I need to be able to see it in my mind. With Jenny, Ziva and of course Abby I never had a problem seeing them as bisexual. I mean there are enough hints about Abby’s fluent sexuality and Ziva has hinted about it as well. And Jenny well I don’t know I guess it has something to do with the way she holds herself, she is a tough yet very caring woman. Who knows exactly what she wants, she’s the Director of NCIS after all. The first female director, a high ranking woman with a Marine based office.

And then there is Kate … I never could see her with a woman, I can ship her with McGee, Tony or Gibbs but not with Abby. So I doubt that I will write a femslashy story with Kate unless it would be a woman who was longing for Kate you know the whole unrequited love thing. I love Kate really I do, but as gay as Sasha Alexander is as Dr. Maura Isles I can not see that in Kate Todd.
