While my longest fic belongs to Criminal Minds, the most fics belong to CSI. For years I wrote stories for this fandom, almost exclusively. When I started out I didn’t know what femslash was, so at first I wrote what everyone wrote, GSR. Yes, I started writing a Grissom/Sara fic but since I became interested with femslash during the first few chapters my story naturally took off in that direction because it fitted me better, I guess. It was what I wanted to write and while I have written some het drabbles I usually only do it if the storyline would not work for two women. For instance having kids, one person being afraid to tell the other that she’s pregnant without knowing what the other person in the relationship would think about it. That is not something that could naturally happen between two women unless you write fpreg or girl!peen of course. Which I have never tried.

So who do I ship

Catherine and Sara, a pure case of opposites attract! The first time I ever saw them I thought that there was the huge sexual tension underneath that anger, regarding Sara Sidle’s reason for being at CSI in Las Vegas. We all know that Catherine was a stripper in her days and well she’s most likely very open-minded and divers when it comes to her own sexuality and kinks. At least I would think that it would help a lot if you have to get out on a stage to undress.

Sara Sidle is played by Jorja Fox, an actress who I really like but who comes, to me at least,  always across as possibly gay. She’s always fighting for gay rights – just take a look at her website – besides that she has played a lesbian before. Add to that the fact that her relationship with Grissom is odd to say the least. Supposedly she has been dating him for six years and they are married now … but they are never together, she’s back in Vegas while Grissom is giving lectures all around the world. It’s just plain weird but it sure is to get a couple of years as a married woman under her belt. I am just waiting for Sara to stumble out of the closet and say that the whole Grissom marriage is a hoax.

A little explanation

I’ve also written a couple of other couples. I believe there are a couple of short fics which have Catherine/Warrick or Catherine/Grissom as a couple, as well as Sara/Greg I believe. It has been such a long time since I wrote those fics and I am writing this from the top of my head so forgive me if I am wrong. I did a lot of one shots and drabbles for this fandom.

And there is one crossover fic between CSI and NCIS, I just had to put Greg and Abby together.
