OMFG!!! I went to the Effenaar yesterday, that woman is f*cking awesome!!!
Really to be honest I had seen Skin at Pinkpop of course this summer and that was awesome so when I heard that she was coming to my home town. I knew that I wanted to see her again because a performance at a festival is totally different from a performance in a club. I love the Effenaar seriously within less then a year they already had four of my favourite singers.
Skin, she is an amazing talent with an awesome voice and a lot of power. Seriously the power that that woman has is unbelievable, she is jumping up and down on the stage, running and jumping off of the drums. Without missing a single note or lyric. Really cool!!! The woman is really weird she looks at the people in front of her, one second she looks as if she is ready to f*ck each and every person in the room while the next she is laughing as if she is insane. When she talks, thanks for the applause at the end of a song or when she explained which song was next she was her voice was honey sweet while the next second she would scream her lyrics.
I didn’t make any pictures, I wanted to take my camera with me but it didn’t feel good. So I left my camera at home, thank god I did because I got checked.
I was there with some people from work, well actually all of the ‘younger’ women from the warehouse where there. We had a lot of fun, it is nice to see them sometimes after work because you see your co-workers in a totally different light. Well most of them really have two faces, except for V. she really is the same person that she is at work.
I liked it a lot and I am so looking forward to the next thing in line; Rent: The Musical!!!
