If there is one het couple on Criminal Minds which I love it would be this one. Derek and Garcia, they seem to be made for each other while at the same time they are complete opposites. Of course their flirting friendship fuels this couple to unbelievable heights. And even though I don’t think it will ever happen if it would happen I would certainly not mind. They are a great match, she would be the girl he would settle down for when and if he is ready.

So in that way writing this story was not hard at all. I loved writing and I had been planning on writing something Garcia/Derek related but so far I have been writing Emily/JJ and Emily/Ziva and in both of those fics I choose to not complicate the story by adding more new pairings, so Garcia is with Kevin.

It was the first challenge which was posted on the website and to really make it a challenge we have to post our favorite pairing to ensure that we won’t get that one. Obviously that is Emily/JJ! So my challenge this time was to write Garcia/Rossi.

Which is exactly what I wrote, and of course I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t include my two other favorite things in the show. That would be Emily/JJ and of course a ‘Girls night out’!

The challenge was difficult, I consider myself to be really open minded and I read anything and everything. To me a pairing doesn’t really matter, what does matter is the content of the story and how well it is written. But to be honest I had never seen the pairing of Garcia/Rossi and it had never even crossed my mind. To me it is like Prentiss/Reid or Garcia/Hotch. Of course they are consenting adults and they often say opposites attract but I have never really seen anything more then friendship between these characters. Of course I could make it easy and write a random scene but I wanted to be challenged so I figured that I at least wanted to write a scene which hints at something more then co-workers and friends. The result is my one parter called ‘That man’.

I have said it before and I will say it again, come September I will be watching Criminal Minds. I will miss JJ and later on Emily terribly but there are 5 other amazing actors who need the fanbase support as well. And I will stick with them. Painful as it might be.

I think that it is really admirable to see how the cast are taking this news. On one hand it is obvious that they don’t agree with what happened, and more specifically how it happened either. And it is great to see the interaction between them and us, the fans. There have been some funny ideas sprouting from this whole mess. The whole restaurant thing comes from Paget Brewster who claimed that she could always go back to waitressing which in return got reply from AJ that she at least had something to go back too.

Fans mentioned that it wouldn’t matter if they could or couldn’t waitress because they would have 42.309 fans who would come in for a drink or too … and even become regulars. That is when someone joked about a ‘Coyote Ugly‘ bar!!! Which is one of my favorite movies! Piper Perabo, Maria Bello … *gutter mind* anyway wouldn’t we love to that?

AJ Cook – Ideas for JJ’s exit…who’s got ‘em??? More funny, the better! FYI: You guys are so amazing. Words can’t describe how kickass you all are!

But while I am writing this I have to say that even though this blog seems to only be about Criminal Minds that is a mere coincidence. I have other pairings which I love but at the moment I have just not been writing about those pairings. But I am planning on actually expanding the pairings and venturing into some new fandoms.

I was one of the 42.309 people who signed, I was one of the many many many people who tweeted night after night to save the ladies. I think it is ridiculous how they did it and ‘creative reasons’ is a bullshit reason.

Another reason which was given was rejuvination, but that doesn’t really make much sense since AJ is the youngest of the females. Besides that if that were the reason the men should have been cut apart from Matthew Grey Gubler they are all above 40.

I have to say that from the beginning I feared that AJ was screwed no matter what we did. She already was pushed have way out the door when the news broke. At least we showed that we cared as fans and that we fought for her. CBS has the power they showed that once again and on one hand I hope that Criminal Minds fails miserably next season. But on the other hand I am a fan of the show and though JJ and Emily are my favorite characters there are still 5 other characters who I also love. I could threaten not to watch anymore but I know myself. I will watch. I might not like it as much as I did the past 5 seasons but am going to watch it.

It’s just like CSI, for me after being my nr. 1 favorite show for years in a row the past couple of seasons have been disappointing but I still watch it. Although I am no longer running home to watch it asap. I figure the same thing will happen to Criminal Minds.

I hate what CBS did, I think that it is wrong to cut two of the three female leads. And then comment with it’s a male ensemble show. Of course it will be if you make choices like this and call it creative.

I don’t know why but I was fearing that they would kill off Emily during the last season, especially when they flipped over the car she was in and on that rooftop. Turns out I should have feared the hiatus.

I am not ready to let go, yet;

Apparently the answer to that question is supposed to be a full mouthed ‘YES!’ because otherwise you wouldn’t make a choice like that. CBS can afford to create a spin off show for Criminal Minds but has to fire AJ Cook because of financial issues and they are still in negotiations with Paget Brewster. If they keep her, her hours will be cut down and she will become a recurring guest star … WHO THE FUCK MAKES THAT DECISION?

Criminal Minds is one of the most popular shows on television, one of the best. They have a fantastic cast and crew and the chemistry on screen as well as off screen is amazing. They have a huge fanbase and a big following on their twitter accounts.

Please don’t ruin one of the best shows on television!

AN: This story originally started as a one parter but quickly turned into something more. And since I am having so much fun with this story it might get a lot longer too. Let me know what you think of the story, constructive critisim and reviews are always welcome.

I have written 50 000 words during November and ever since then I have been working on editing the whole story. It is huge and I have never worked this way. Editing is going really really slow I am aware of that but I am still working on this story and I am getting there.

I have actually printed it out in December, well let someone print it out because it is 150 pages. I spaced the lines bigger then usual so that I would be able to add my adjustments to them. And that is what I have been doing since. It is a lot of work! I set up a system with different colors of post-its to add extra notes and/or scenes to the pages.

One day though I will post my big NCIS/Criminal Minds Crossover fic and it will be probably my biggest story yet. I am looking forward to that moment when I post it and especially to the comments/reviews I receive. That would be great because without a doubt this is the fic I poured my heart and soul in.

That is the reason why I called my website ‘Internal Dialogue’, there is a constantly continuing going on in my mind and it is hard for me to stop it at any time but it can be tremendously hard when I am struggling with something. And that is one of the reasons why I am writing fanfiction. It helps me to deal with things in my personal life without actually telling people around me what’s been bothering me, Besides that I always liked to come up with stories. I recently found a scrapbook from when I was maybe 8 or 9 years old and even back then I was making up stories.

I have actually always a writing pad lying next to my bed in case I come up with something in the middle of the night so that I can write it down because over the years I have learned one thing and that is that if I have an idea and it strikes in the death of night that I am better off writing it down because then I might actually get some sleep instead of not writing it down and not sleeping either.

I am a creative person and story telling apparently is one of the ways in which I express myself. So earlier this month I by accident stumbled across this website which is named 750words.com. It is a website in which you are challenged to write 750 words each day. It doesn’t matter what you write about as long as you are writing, You can lock up your writing so no one can read them, so you could potentially use them for journaling. For each day you wrote you 750 words you get points, depending on how fast you wrote and how many distractions you had along the way you get a certain number of points added to your account. Distractions only count if they are longer then three minutes.

If you write a certain number of days in a row you receive this little cute icon as a present on your account, And crazy enough those small little icons are really encouraging. And you get a full page filled with stats. I have never seen a page quite like it but it completely analyzes you writing and picks different kinds of information and somehow creates all of these little stats to show you certain things. It compares the nature of your writing to that of the world and also checks the mood of your written piece and stuff like that. I have no idea how it works but I guess that I just like to watch what kind of stuff gets figured out once I am done with the piece of that day. It shows you a stat which tells you how much you wrote, and how fast you were. It compares that to the general pace of a writer and you can see if you are on target or way behind. I really like that part of the website, I guess that it really gives you a reason to get good results.

This was actually the first post I wrote about a random topic, my other posts have been fanfiction. I have actually written the next four chapters of my fic ‘Some secrets are worth sharing’ on 750words. They are now at my beta and as soon as I get them back, which is hopefully very soon I will start to post them because I don’t want to keep you all waiting for too long. I am having way too much fun with this story and I am anxiously waiting to see what you all think about it.
